Will of Caroline Latta - 5 Nov 1858 Original Will, on file in Raleigh, NC Archives CR 073.801 I Caroline Latta of the County of Orange and State of North Carolina being of Sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say my executor shall provid for my body a decent burial and pay the same together with my Just debts and all the balance of my estate I will and bequeath to my neice[sic] Mary Walker in Consideration of hir kindness in taking care of me and I do hereby constitute Mary Walker my lawful ["executor" overwritten] executrix to execute this my last will and and[sic] testament according to the true intent and mean= =ing of the same hereby revoking and declaring uterly void all other Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made In Witsess[sic] whereof I the said Coroline[sic] Latta do hereunto set my hand and seal This 3rd day of November AD 1883 Caroline Latta (sea) Signed in the presents of Alexr.
