Will of Aquilla Jones Original Will, on file in Raleigh, NC Archives CR 073.801 In the name of God Amen I Aquilla Jones of the county of Orange and State of north Carolina being a Low state of health but in sound disposing mind and memory I make this my last Will and Tetament Revoking all other Wills -- here to fore made and do declare this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner as follows--------- 1st it is my Will that all my Just debts shall be paid 2d I give and bequeth to my beloved Wife all the Residue of my Estate During her natural Live or Widowhood and then to be Equally divided between my three suns and my Wife one sun that is to say my sun John Aquilla and James and her sun William Hargis I also give and bequeath to my --- daughter Mary Jones one Cow it is my Will that my famaly should all stay togather and Work and pay for the Land and at Last Equally divide the same between the above mentioned suns I do Constitute and appoint my Beloved wife Hephsibeth Jones and Reubin Smith my Lawful Executors to this my Last Will and Testament in Testamony I have hear unto set my hand and seal this 27th day of november 1803 Sealed Acknowledged in presents of David Ray Aquilla Jones (Seal) John Butner Jurat Reuben Smith qualif.
