Will of Wilson Jackson - 8 May 1880 Original Will, on file in Raleigh, NC Archives CR 073.801 I Wilson Jackson being weak in body, and considering the uncertainty of my earthly esistence Do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following . viz 1st my desire is that my Executor herein after named shall out of the proceeds of my estate provide for my Body a decent Burial. And pay all my just and lawful debts out of my Real estate to whomsoever owing Item 2nd I give unto Lucinda Jackson wife of Jasper Jackson my son ["my Tract of" crossed out] and to her three Children Viz. Sarah Betty & Mary S. Jackson my Tract of Land on which I now live containing one Hundred and Eighty acres more or less. The meets and bounds being described in the deed for the same duly registered and recorded. To have and to hold jointly and severally [page 2] Item 3rd I also in consideration of the care and Kindness shown me by the said Lucinda Jackson do give and bequeath to her and to her Three Children before named all my Personal Property of ever discription, both farming implements Household and Kitchen furniture, and stock of all Kinds which I now own Tho their use and benefit jointly and severally, forever Item 4th I hereby appoint and earnestly request my esteemed you friend A.
