Will of Elizabeth Crabtree - 24 Aug 1918 Original Will, on file in Raleigh, NC Archives CR 073.801 NORTH CAROLINA, ORANGE COUNTY. I, Elizabeth Crabtree, of the aforesaid County and State, being of sound mind, but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence, do make and declare this my last will testament: FIRST: My executors, hereinafter named, shall give my body a decent burial, suitable to the wishes of my friend with all my relatives, and pay all funeral expenses, together with all my just debts, out of the first moneys which may come into there hands belonging to my estate. SECOND: I give, devise and bequeath to my children, Sidney Crabtree, Lonnie Crabtree, Bunn Crabtree, Mallory Crabtree, Lula Crabtree, Mary Johnson and Dora Daniel, share and share alike, all my real estate and personal property. If any of my children pre-decease me, leaving issue, said issue shall receive, share and share alike, the interest which said parent would have received had he or she been living at my death. THIRD: I hereby constitute and appoint my son, Sidney Crabtree, and my daughter, Lula Crabtree, my lawful executors to all intents and purposes, to execute this my last will and testa- ment, according to the true intent and meaning of the same, and every part and clause thereof --- hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
